Cat is an honor student graduate of Animal Behavior College, a graduate of Karen Pryor Academy, member of the Pet Professional Guild, and Fear Free Force Free certified. She believes that force free training is the most effective and humane way to train your pet.
Cat was a volunteer at the San Diego Department of Animal Services for many years, worked at Helen Woodward Animal Center for two years, and trained dogs, cats, pigs, and chickens at the San Diego Humane Society in Escondido. She has fostered 69 dogs in the past 8 years; you can read about one of her favorite fosters, whom she trained at the shelter and in her home, in Dog World Magazine's January 2012 issue.
Cat is currently volunteering at the Judith A. Bassett Canid Education and Conservation Center training Domesticated Russian foxes.
